News & Notes Team
Welcome to News and Notes 2026, our second year as co-editors and one we began with a wonderful gathering at the pub for no fewer than 23 members of the News and Notes team, past and present.
Reminiscing with 9 previous editors and a great many members of the delivery teams from all the villages, it was wonderful to see how strong a tradition of community support lies behind what we do. After 586 issues, there still remains gret enthusiasm for it to continue.
Not only was it a chance for all of us finally to meet all these fellows News-and-Noters, to put names to faces and understand more of each other's roles in the task of getting N&N out to our readers, but also talk about how we might try to develop the magazine in the future, to keep it fresh and relevant to the maximum number of local people.
We discussed plenty of good ideas, not least for us all to meet again in the pub soon for more hearty chinwagging and celebrations of all things local!
If pigs could fly, I'd definitely get an umbrella!
